Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the VendorCAD Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate law, export controls, sanctions, or third-party rights (including IP and privacy).
- Upload malware, or attempt unauthorized access to systems, other tenants, or accounts.
- Probe, scan, or load-test the Service except with our prior written approval.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including cryptomining or resource abuse.
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messages via quote or notification features.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a deceptive way.
- Store or process special-category/sensitive personal data (health, government IDs, etc.) without a written addendum.
- Resell or white-label the Service except as expressly permitted in an SOW.
- Use demo tenants for production workloads or to store real customer secrets at scale.
3. Content standards
Customer Content must be lawful and something you have rights to use. You are responsible for buyer-facing notices on published configurators you operate.
4. Security reporting
Good-faith vulnerability reports may be sent to contact@vendorcad.com with subject “Security report.” Do not exfiltrate Customer Content or disrupt availability while testing.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, throttle usage, or suspend tenants to protect the Service or others. We may report illegal activity to authorities.
