This Cookie Policy explains how VendorCAD uses cookies and similar technologies on https://vendorcad.com and the VendorCAD Service. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use local storage and pixels/scripts that perform similar functions.

We group cookies as follows:

• Strictly necessary — required for security, authentication, load balancing, and remembering your cookie preferences. These run without optional consent.
• Analytics / performance — help us understand product and marketing usage (for example PostHog product analytics and Microsoft Clarity session insights). These load only if you accept analytics cookies.

Examples of technologies we may use:

• Session cookie (e.g. ff_session) — httpOnly authentication cookie; necessary; duration: session / configured TTL.
• ff_cookie_consent_v1 (localStorage) — stores your cookie choice; necessary; retained until cleared.
• PostHog — analytics events when consented; third-party / first-party capture endpoints as configured.
• Microsoft Clarity — session analytics/heatmaps when consented.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on forms; necessary for abuse prevention when enabled.
• Sentry — error diagnostics; may set limited identifiers for crash reporting; treated as necessary for service reliability when enabled.

On first visit (and when you reopen preferences), our banner lets you Accept analytics, Reject analytics, or open Cookie settings. Necessary cookies remain active.

You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You may also clear cookies/local storage in your browser; doing so may sign you out and reset preferences.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not uniformly standardized; we honor the choices recorded in our consent tool.
